Taslan is nylon that has been engineered to look and feel more like cotton. This fabric is wind resistant and resistant to penetration by water. It is breathable making it comfortable to wear. This nylon is extremely soft, provides a supple, yet slightly crisper drape and although thin can still be used for outerwear applications such as your traditional windbreaker. Laying at 57/58", this nylon has a water repellent coating that is added to fabrics at the factory, making it the perfect material for raincoats and trench coats. It might also be a good applicant for camping gear and outdoor tents. We highly recommend grabbing a hold of a swatch for this material regardless of how you may want to use it.
