Our Dotted Pattern Paper is a sewist's MUST-have when it comes to developing, grading, or tracing patterns for sewing. Thirty yards of smooth bright white paper carry a one-inch grid of lines of plus signs alternating with lines of sequential numbers running vertically, and each yard is demarcated by a line of plus signs running across the width. Measuring just under 40 inches wide, it's the perfect size for dressmakers, fashion designers, and home sewists alike!

Translucent enough to see through to your pattern while still durable enough to withstand pencil markings (and erasings!), it is friendlier to use than tracing paper or tissue paper. Scissors and rotary cutters slice through no problem, so much so that a layer of pattern paper and layer(s) of fabric can be cut at the same time with ease.

Best for drafting sewing patterns and making alterations, expect to transfer your edits to muslin for making test garments, and use a thicker material for pattern blocks, slopers, or master patterns.
